Kobo eReaders are available for checkout for OCC Students, Faculty, and Staff only. Readers can be checked out for 4 weeks, and then renewed.
In order to use Kobo eReaders, users must either create a Kobo account, or use a third party access method such as Google or Facebook. Users are responsible for these accounts.
When returned, all eReaders will be wiped and reset to factory status.
Users are responsible for returning ereaders in good working condition. If a device is not returned, you will be charged the full price of the eReader.
OCC Library is thrilled to offer Kobo eReaders for checkout to our students, faculty, and staff. This guide will help you in setting up your eReader as well as outline the current policies in place.
There are eleven Libra 2 and two Sage eReaders available to be checked out. The Sage reader also has an optional stylus that can be checked out as well. This stylus can be used to take notes and highlight ebooks as well as in notebooks.
The Kobo eReaders integrate seamlessly with Overdrive. Advanced users can explore sideloading pdfs and other ebooks.
