Book Your Appointment Online

Appointments reserve the Podcast Studio for 2-hour blocks of time with an added 15-minute buffer period at the end to allow for proper cleanup.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

• A valid proof of affiliation (only the guest who booked the appointment)
• An item for collateral (all users)

• A laptop, microSD card, or USB thumbdrive to save your recordings

Check-In for Your Appointment

• Check-in at the Access Services front desk. Library staff will take your group to the Podcast Studio.

• Staff will provide a microSD card to be used for recording. 

• Provide proof of Ocean County College or Kean affiliation.

• Provide collateral to be picked up at the end of your appointment.

At the End of Your Appointment
 

• Alert staff at the Access Services front desk.
• Return microSD card to Access Services staff. 

Scope of Service
 

• Library staff are available to ensure the equipment is properly set up and in working order. Staff cannot troubleshoot additional devices or functionality beyond the basic recording setup. 
• Please be prepared to save your recording file(s) on a laptop, USB flashdrive, or other device. The Library will not retain copies of your recording file(s). Our microSD cards are provided for recording purposes only and are wiped clean of data after each session.   
• Library staff cannot assist with any post-recording editing or publishing of recording files.
