About the Podcast Studio
The Podcast Studio and equipment are open and free to use by students, staff, and faculty of the OCC community regardless of major or discipline—including Kean Ocean users. The space can be booked in advance or is available for walk-in users, as long as the studio is not in use or previously booked. No previous podcasting experience is required!

Appointments are available: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Accessing the Podcast Studio
To access the Podcast Studio you must:
- Place an online booking
- Complete the Podcast Studio Agreement at check-in
- All participants must complete this agreement
- Provide proof of Ocean County College or Kean affiliation
- Acceptable proof of affiliation:
- Valid Student ID
- Established WMS account
- Ocean Connect or Kean Account access
- Provide collateral at check-in to be kept behind the circulation desk while the Podcast Studio is in use
- All participants must provide an item as collateral
- Examples of items to be used as collateral
- Student IDs
- Driver's License
- Car Keys
- Credit or Debit Card
- Cell Phone
Procedures
- All Podcast Studio patrons are liable and responsible for the equipment in the Podcast Studio
- If there is any damage done to the equipment, upon inspection, all patrons will be responsible for the payment of a replacement fee in the equal value of replacement at the time in which the damage occurred.
- If damage does occur, a block with be placed on patron's accounts until the full amount of replacement has been repaid.
- An internal note will be present on each account to alert any and all library staff of the replacement charge(s).
- Guests without affiliation are permitted to use the space so long as they are accompanied by an affiliated user who placed the booking.
- All patrons must sanitize their headphones and microphones with disinfectant wipes provided by the Ocean County College Library once their appointment is done.
- Guests are encouraged to bring a laptop or other data storage solution to transfer the files of the recordings.
