Are drinks or food allowed in the Podcast Station?

Who sets up the equipment?

It depends!

When booking the space, a user can choose to either have our staff set up the equipment so it is ready to go when or arrive or you can choose to set up the equipment yourself.

Can we make an appointment for longer than 2 hours?

Each booking is for 2 hours. If you need more time, and there isn't a booking for another group after, you can reserve extended time. Please ask the library front desk for help with extended time.

What happens if I'm running late?

How do I save my recordings?

We recommend saving your recordings via USB but you can also save your work directly to your laptop via an HDMI cable or to a micro SD card. The Ocean County College Library does not provide any equipment to save your work, you must bring your own equipment in order to save it.

Do I need to know how to use the equipment prior to my appointment?

While this is highly recommended to make the most out of your recording session, beginners are welcome and encouraged to make an appointment!

Is the Podcast Station available for walk-in appointments?

Yes!

However, walk-ins are subject to availability. It is highly recommended to book a session in advance.

I damaged the equipment, what do I do now?

Please inform the library staff immediately.

If damage is assessed as being beyond normal wear and tear, the users will be liable for the replacement costs found in the Podcast Station Usage Procedures.

My questions isn't listed, who do I contact for more information?

For immediate on-site assistance, please go to the front desk.

For other inquiries, please contact John Wallace, Systems Librarian, at jwallace@ocean.edu
